Many people may not know that the Southern tip of Italy is where the majority of Italian-Americans immigrated from. Calabria is a region right at “the tip of Italy’s boot” and is rich in Italian cuisine. Some of my ancestors immigrated from Calabria, and I had always wanted to learn more about the region. The purpose of this stamp collection is to highlight some of Calabria's more unique indigenous food products that Americans do not see as much as other widely known Italian foods.
